About 2% of American children have Autism

Many Autistic children have to deal with lowered sensitivity to stimuli.

Sensory footwear was created as a means to aid children with sensory disabilities. The shoe does not have any laces. It tightens around the foot by use of a ratcheting system that engages when the red straps on the tongue are pulled. The insole is made of a silicone "grass" that gives the child constant sensory input to aid their hyposensitivity.
