Air Jordan I
An idea inspired by annoyance…
I had spent the day at work and had noticed that although i loved the pair of air jordans i had, there were a few things i wanted to change. I had only ever made a shoe from scratch from a pattern and i thought it might be interesting to play detective and reverse engineer one.
After what seemed like a weeks worth of seam ripping, i pulled the upper apart and began to create my own pattern pieces
The finished product is made of canvas and flesh side veg tanned leather. I chose these materials because i wanted a milder look to the shoe while not sacrificing durability.
